<\/span><\/div>I discovered photography at a young age and knew early on that storytelling through images would shape my life. Born in Holland, I began studying at the Photo Academy in the Netherlands at the age of fifteen.
\nFor more than 30 years, I have worked as a professional photographer, and in recent years, my focus has shifted strongly toward documentary photography.
\nTraveling and connecting with local communities continue to inspire me.
\nI am driven to tell stories that capture social and political realities, to inform and create awareness.
\nIn 2017, this work was recognized with the Monovisions Award and the National Geographic Public Award Benelux in the Human category.
\nI moved to Thailand in 2021, where I am now based.
\nI am the owner of Photohostel & Photocafe, located in a 200-year-old renovated Taiyuan building in Talat Noi, Chinatown.
\nAlongside my photography, I work as a producer for international productions and documentary films.
\nMy latest documentary, Anything for a Better Future<\/i>, is distributed worldwide by Mailuki Films.<\/h6>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

\nBehind the Chow Sue Kong Shrine in Bangkok, and very close to the Chao Phraya River<\/h6>\n
It is a 10-minute walk from Hua Lamphong MRT station or accessible by boat.<\/h6>\n
The most beautiful attractions are the photogenic streets in the area, many temples, and shopping at Iconsiam.<\/h6>\n
You can stay in our private rooms.
\nAll rooms are air-conditioned and have private bathrooms.<\/h6>\n
We have a beautiful gallery and a cafe where you can drink delicious coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, or tea.
\nYou can choose from all kinds of cakes and snacks.
\nIn the meantime, you can browse our special selection of photo books.
\nThe Photocafe is a perfect place for co-working or organizing your event.
