Overview

This two-day documentary photography workshop takes place inside a real Muay Thai training camp and focuses on learning how to create strong visual stories.
You will learn how to observe carefully, and photograph people with respect and awareness.
We will explore what makes a documentary image powerful, how to build trust with your subject, and how to move from single photos to a complete story.During the workshop, you will create your own 8–12 image documentary series, focusing on the professional Muay Thai boxer Tarzan, capturing his training, discipline, and the intensity behind the fighter.
Through guided shoots, editing sessions, and feedback, you will develop a photo series that reveals the human story behind the sport.
After the workshop, you will receive a free zine featuring your series as a lasting result of your work.

 Taking pictures at a local Muay Thai trainings camp in Bangkok from a professional Muay Thai boxer.
We bring 2 extra Amaran lights and a photography assistant.
2 lunches , 1 diner and drinks during the photography workshop and all travel fees.
The workshop is led by Kars Tuinder, with Dee assisting.

Price

 The private workshop fee is 22,000 baht.
For two participants, the fee is 16,000 baht per person.
Maximum 3 participants, workshop fee 14,000 THB per person.
